anything about the people behind this project? Or aren't there any? What is the motivation, who spends the money? Greetings -- 217.227.68.242 23:23, 24 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wiki Education Foundation-supported course assignment

[edit]

This article is or was the subject of a Wiki Education Foundation-supported course assignment. Further details are available on the course page. Student editor(s): Amberlord5.

Above undated message substituted from Template:Dashboard.wikiedu.org assignment by PrimeBOT (talk) 17:05, 16 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Address

[edit]

The address given (9331 Venice Blvd.) seems to be near the address for the Museum of Jurassic Technology. The MJT is a project of David Wilson, while CLUI is a project of Matthew Coolidge. Are the two related in some way? Is the address given a correct one? Underalms (talk) 16:33, 28 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

[edit]

Only 2 of the 7 sources are correctly linked (Sources 1 and 3). These links need to be updated, or the information should be removed or found elsewhere. Amberlord5 (talk) 05:52, 9 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Most of the information comes from lengthy quotes; are there more sources that can be paraphrased or included without having to use the direct source material throughout? Amberlord5 (talk) 06:01, 9 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Bias

[edit]

Are there any other sources that would be less positively biased towards the CLUI? Most of the article is comprised of information from their official website, which could perhaps be subjective? Amberlord5 (talk) 05:55, 9 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a way that the description can be rewritten without any kind of subjective connotation (i.e. through words like "eclectic")? Can the article be more concise, without using adjectives that may provide a biased view? Amberlord5 (talk) 05:59, 9 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Lead section improvement

[edit]

To address the improvement tag, I've started work on the lead section, removing the street location, and adding more info about the actual functions of the organization. As time permits, will attempt to make other improvements to the article and its citations. Netherzone (talk) 00:08, 1 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
